My journey so far as a new mum

Calvary greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I do trust you all are well? Today I talk about my journey so far as a new mum of a one year old and a wife, also a working mum balancing it out. Having a baby is a big or rather huge responsibility, especially when God blesses you with an angel like Mikayla that is not a sleeping baby. As I always tell people, there are babies then there is "Child of Mine". From the day she came into this world screaming , she continued in that way, and not a good sleeper. Hardly do you come to visit and meet my baby sleeping. For someone that worked in a nursery where I had cared for babies from 3 months to 2 years old, I must say that Mikayla is a unique one. It gets really frustrating when I go to bed, waking up for my usual mid night feedings(not just breastfeeding) my activities include but not limited to, carrying, singing, swaddling, wrapping on my back and rocking to sleep, patting on the bum and back...... IUD, LOOP, OR COIL INSERTION

Hello everyone, I went to my GP to have the loop or coil or IUD fitted. This is 11 months after the the birth of our daughter. I would advice that you take very strong pain killers at least half an hour before you go in for your appointment. I did have a very strong pain killer before I went in. Some people say that if you have had vaginal birth it would not hurt and stuff, however it did hurt me a bit, more like being uncomfortable. But I kept telling myself that the pain killers have kicked in, and that helped to relax me a lot. So basically the procedure starts with a chat of about different contraceptive, I already knew that I wanted the loop because I had the implant and I gained a lot of weight. After the long talk, I was made to lay down, bend my knees and open wide, the clamp is inserted and it opened my cervix wide, the depth of my vagina was measured, the coil fitted in and the thread was trimmed, then the rest tucked in. I am not sure what the problem was, however I ha...

Hospital bill

Happy new year ya all. To the glory of our most precious Lord,  I had my baby on Halloween day and I testify that the Lord indeed was faithful.  I will send another post with my delivery experience. Now after a month of delivery,  I received my hospital bill.  Boy was I shocked and had sleepless night.  When we found out we were pregnant,  I started all the research on how and what to do and what the cost implication would be since I had no health insurance, because of my previous surgery the Dr told me I was going to have Cs delivery. I contacted SAN Joaquin hospital in Bakersfield and I got a price for $8000 for C s delivery,  I did ask all the relevant questions like was this part of my room and board for I and my baby and was it inclusive of her first shorts,  pediatricians bill,  and what not,  after being tossed from one department to the other I got different prices for out of pocket paying patients.  I worked so hard to ...
