Feeding babies fat.

Greetings in the name that is above every other name. How have y'all been??? So my people, today I be chatting about how I fed Mikayla, a 2.5kg baby at birth, to now 13.5kg At two years old. OK it all started by her being brought forth(born) early by the mercies of God. She was so tiny. Being inexperienced, I never breastfed for more than 15 minutes. Or very frequently. Although I was bottle feeding, and she always seemed to suck more bottle. Each time I went to the drs, they always called me to talk to me about her weight, I though she was doing OK. As she always gained weight and not loosing on each visit. So I now decided to cluster feed her. I started feeding her every 3 hours. And most of all, I always wake up at night to feed her solids. Like her cereal and then give bottle much later into the night. The reason for this was because I said to myself that those that eat late nights gain weight. So I started feeding her. I wake her up or more like get her on my body and make sure she's comfy and all she needs close to me, then I start feeding her. Most times when she's hungry she keeps tossing and turning. Then I get up and feed her. It was not easy for me, having to wake up at nights to feed her, loosing sleep and still have work the next morning, was not an easy task. However i was determined. I made sure I don't put her on my lap, I prop her up with pillows, then feed her. She loves her food hot, and I always ensured it was hot. I have water handy and also juice. If she stops and says mama water. I have that, most times she will refuse the food, and request for juice, I give her. I think a times about her teeth with all these night juice as she has brushed for the night. The. I console myself with the fact that its her milk teeth.( silly me) There are days we fight or she wakes up and knocks the food over my fresh sheets or freely washed clothes. Or better yet, vomits up all the food. I did not give up, I keep waking her up, not her waking me up. And I feed her. Most especially when she started nursery at 7 months. I made sure I feed once she gets back, and then at least by 11pm or 1am. Then again before sun rise. The last time I weighed her before she turned one, she was 8kg. She became sick so I took her to the hospital and they had to weigh her for her drugs. And what did I see in the scale, by potatoes was now weighing 10.1kg. I was so happy with myself. And thanked God. Shortly after we weighted her before she turned two and she's weighing 14kg now. She does not look all chubby but when you pick her up and hold her for a while you feel the strain. I also made sure that I always gave her multivitamin supplements so she is hungry and eats more. The key is to use this multivitamin or get any eating drugs for baby, but it usually is not taken for a prolonged period of time. And this help boost their appetite. Before you start this. Make sure you have enough food ready for this mission. And then the night feedings, I make sure I come into bed armed with hot water in flask, wipes, spoon and plate, drinking water, juice and spear clothes and diaper. So I don't need to start the great trek to the kitchen for any of these. If she vomits wipes is handy, spear clothes is also handy. Try this and tell me if you achieved the same results. Especially the night feedings, multivitamin, and 3 hourly cluster feeds. No matter how close by you are going to, always have something for her to snack on. If I think I many not stay Long, I get a drink for her and an apple. I dispense with the flask and hot water and spear clothes. However I do have a spear permanently in my trunk in the car. Always pack a bag with food, because you never know what can keep you longer. Also try and give food not snacks, snacks can be taken, while you make the main meal. And should not replace the 3 hour cluster feeding. At most you could reduce the quantity of the food because of the snacks, but still feed food. Adios Amigos.( too much of watching Dora the explorer ) lol
