Cercelage

Hello my lovely readers, I do trust everyone is well.

Ok today I will be blogging about cercelage( sewing the cervix shut).

So work got very busy for me when I found out I was pregnant, and I had no option than to tell my boss only (after all he is the one that pays me). Because I became lazy especially at mornings and struggled to get into work early.

Mum and my sister and brother came over to visit me and stay with for a week as my Pancakes(my lovely husband) was out of town. Then I was 13 weeks pregnant.

I was running around to making sure mum was comfortable and also juggling the office as well. One evening I came home, and was hit with severe back pain and cramps worst than period cramps. Coming to think of it, this pain has been present from about 6 weeks of my pregnancy, and I read that it was normal but I still went in to check with my doctors.

Anyways, I was strong enough to make dinner, then we all sat to devour my delicious meal, when i started to feel wet in my knickers. Strange yeah?  I though the same, could I have peed myself?

I went to the toilet to pee, when I wiped up, I saw this thick brown mucus on the tissue paper, it was really a lot. I called my sister into the bathroom and showed her and she prayed for me. I took courage. However when I woke up at night to pee, I found out that I had started bleeding lightly, then it became heavy. I had to go into the hospital the next day at 2pm to see my doctor.
He performed a scan and checked my cervix. He told me that my cervix was opened and that I was ready to have my baby. I laughed and said baby its not time for you to come out and watch cartons yet. ( I had to encourage myself with the word of God) when i was about 10 weeks along, I heard a voice when I was walking back from the salon saying to my spirit "Convernat this child unto the Lord as his child),I prayed and convernated my baby to God. That was my confidence and my support. I knew that I would carry this baby to full term.

I had an emergency surgery that night and had the cercelage placed. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days because my tough baby kept fight the foreign body,  giving me serious contractions. I was home and place on bed rest for 2 months. In the two months I have had days where I had to be rushed to the hospital because the contractions were so painful and I will feel the urge to push, my waist and pelvis will be so hurt me so bad that I can't sit still or concentrate.

Even in my home state of affairs, I had to insist that I worked from the house and went into d office when ever I could.( girl got to remain relevant to pay the bills)

I cannot thank God enough for how Pancakes stepped up, he became my chef, my dula, my driver, my doctor, nurse name it all. And all this he did with a smile and never for once complained. I also got a house keeper to help with the cleaning.

But in all I am thankful to God that despite this rough road, I am still pregnant and my baby is doing well.

May the Lord keep all expectant mums in Jesus name. Amen.
