5 months after my fibroids surgery
It has been 4 months since my surgery, to the glory of God I must confess that I am strong and have resumed all activities. I started going on a jog. My periods are also regular, every 26 days.
However I still experience light , tiny winny pain during my periods, and some days it gets really bad, but nothing that pain killers cant help with.
I still cannot lie faced up, or get up facing upwards. And I still see clots when my periods come, however they are like strands, and very few tiny lumps, which my friend Mina says its normal, she is 10 months post surgery. So I guess it is normal.
My scar has healed nicely, some days it itches me so bad i feel like opening up the stitch to get a good scratch, because it feels as if the itch comes from the inside, when I itch the outside, its not that effective, feels like I am itching the wrong place.
I read an article that said you can start TTC after 3 months, a professor said it was safe and Ok, as during your first 3 months your wound should have healed. (Follow the one your doctor advised you) So now I have started TTC, and trusting God for our miracle little one. Oh yeah sex is better, however the key is go easy, because I engaged in one move that made me feel as if I broke a bone in my vagina( Swear down I thought there was a broken bone there, not that I know if the vagina has bones).
Stay blessed.
